Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Submitting a Manuscript to the International Journal of Current Research in Physiology and Pharmacology (IJCRPP):

Submission Process:

  • Manuscripts should be submitted online through the journal's submission system.
  • The journal accepts manuscripts in Microsoft Word format.

Preparation of Manuscript:

  • Use provided templates for original papers, case reports, and review articles.
  • Structure the text of observational and experimental articles with the following sections: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Legends, and Acknowledgment.
  • Format the manuscript using Times New Roman font, size 12, and 1.5 line spacing.
  • Number pages consecutively, starting with the title page.

Title Page:

  • Indicate the type of manuscript.
  • Provide a concise and informative title (Times New Roman font, size 12, bold).
  • List authors’ names (Last name, First name, and initials of middle name).
  • Specify the department(s) and institution(s) affiliated with the work.
  • Include the contact details (name, address, phone numbers, and email) of the author responsible for correspondence.

Abstract Page:

  • Include an abstract (150 words for case reports and brief reports; 250 words for original research articles) structured with Context, Aims, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
  • Below the abstract, provide 2-6 keywords.

Introduction:

  • Outline the purpose of the article and the rationale for the study or observation.

Methods:

  • Describe the selection of subjects (patients, including controls) and detail the methods, apparatus, and procedures used.
  • State compliance with ethical standards for human and animal experimentation.
  • Mention statistical methods and provide references for less known methods.

Ethics:

  • For human experiments, confirm adherence to ethical standards and the Helsinki Declaration.
  • For animal experiments, indicate compliance with institutional or national guidelines.

Statistical Analysis:

  • Quantify findings with appropriate indicators (e.g., confidence intervals).
  • Avoid non-technical uses of technical statistical terms.

Results:

  • Present results in a logical sequence in text, tables, and illustrations.
  • Avoid repeating all data from tables or illustrations in the text.

Discussion:

  • Highlight new and important aspects of the study and conclusions drawn.
  • Discuss the implications, limitations, and potential for future research.

Conclusion:

  • Summarize the findings at the end of the manuscript.

Acknowledgment:

  • Acknowledge contributions that require mention but do not justify authorship.
  • Note any financial or material support and technical assistance.

References:

  • Number references consecutively as they appear in the text (not alphabetically).
  • Follow the format used by the NLM in Index Medicus for journal titles.
  • Include all authors up to six, followed by 'et al.' for more.

Tables:

  • Ensure tables are self-explanatory and do not duplicate textual content.
  • Number tables consecutively in Arabic numerals as cited in the text.
  • Use footnotes for explanatory matter.

Illustrations (Figures):

  • Number figures consecutively as cited in the text.
  • Provide titles and detailed explanations in legends, not on the illustrations.
  • Submit numerical data for graphs.
  • Obtain permission for use of identifiable photographs and previously published figures.
